Driven by my unhealthy amount of passion and ambition for costume, I am in love with the adaptability and capability of the costume itself as a storytelling device.

Costume Designer, Supervisor, Maker, and Artist.

I have been gathering experience in the film and theatre industry since 2014 working a wide range of roles from costume assistant to designer and everything in between. Since my formal training in costume Design, Management and Making I have had the opportunity to design for theatres and shows all over Sydney, some highlights include: The Pigeons, Little Women the Musical, The Grain in the Blood, Rhomboid, The Hayes Theatre, Belvoir 25A and KXT.

I have advanced sewing skills with over 15 years behind a sewing machine I am confident working with all kinds of designs, fabrics, and bodies to create a well-made and appropriate garment. I am also a confident cutter / Pattern maker / Draper for period and modern garments, while also being a junior Tailor. I have made costumes for The ABC, Paramount, Stan, Foxtel, Prime, Ensemble theatre and Pinchgut opera.

I have had the opportunity to Costume supervise for companies such as Ensemble Theatre, Pinchgut Opera, and The Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Skills

I am a trained Costume Designer and Costume Supervisor for theatre and screen, with advanced sewing and cutting / pattern-making skills for both historical costume construction and modern garment construction. I am also a junior Tailor and can make canvas or fused full suits.

I have Leadership skills and can manage teams of assistants, makers, dressers and buyers.

More skills. include: Budgeting, specialisation in costume quick change, back stage management, costume researching and academic writing, illustration and technical drawing skills, Adobe software, and Google Suite software.
