Making

I have been a maker all my whole life. The first I stepped in front of a sewing machine was at the age of four and never looking back. Coming from a family of tailors and seamstresses and growing up in a household where everyone could sew which made it very normal for me to begin creating the skills needed to start my career in costume.

I continued my love for making studying at NIDA in the Costume course learning new skills, and growing my already known knowledge into a professional level. I have had the opportunity to work with multiple designers and difficult materials to create impressive and well-fitting garments.

I have made costumes for The ABC, Paramount, Stan, Foxtel, Prime, Ensemble theatre, Pinchgut opera, Nida, Sabina Myers, Wendy Cork, The Hayes Theatre co and Belvoir.

I like to think of myself as a costume engineer, nothing is impossible to create!
